We believe that every individual is a unique creation of God and as a result has infinite worth and value.

No matter what a person’s gender, creed, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or social position may be, we believe that every individual is the special creation of God and someone for whom Jesus died. As such each person deserves our respect and our love.

We believe that God has a unique plan and assignment for every person and our mandate is to bring this Good News to men and women worldwide.

We are to be like Jesus to those in our sphere of living. We are to love like Him and bring the message of His wonderful love to those outside the Kingdom.

We believe that in an atmosphere of love, acceptance and forgiveness, healthy relationships are birthed and cultivated.

Being a people who love, accept and forgive creates an environment where each person is free to be themselves, find healing, love and acceptance, and achieve their God-given potential.

Core Value #4

We believe in the importance of esteeming those in other denominations and speaking well of them, recognizing the reality that they are part of our extended family.

The Church of Jesus Christ has a variety of flavours. We are simply one of them. Our brothers and sisters beyond the walls of this assembly are part of the same family here on earth, and it is both our duty and our desire to love them as such.

Core Value #5

We believe in the importance of gathering together as a community, thereby expressing a value that is dear to us, that each of us that we are a family to which each one of us belong.

It is important to us to cultivate a sense of community where each individual feels a sense of belonging. Therefore we gather together in a variety of contexts cultivating community and making each individual feel that they are an integral part of our gatherings.

Core Value #6

We believe that each of us are called to do the very best we can with the gifts and abilities we have been given, and as we do we honour God and inspire those around us.

This is not an unhealthy compulsion for perfection, but a realization that God deserves our very best efforts. Therefore we choose to honour Him in whatever we do by embracing a servant’s heart and giving ourselves to serve Him and others with passion and joy.

We believe that it is the role of leadership to help others discover their giftedness and to equip those within Christ’s body to achieve their God-given potential, so that the entire church may function as God intended.

Every person in God’s kingdom is vital to His plan for humanity. When we help people discover that their abilities, talents and gifts can be used to extend God’s kingdom we create within them a sense that they are an important part of God’s overall plan.

We believe that one of the great purposes of the Holy Spirit is to empower us to do great things for God. We believe that we are ordinary people, but with His unique enablement at work within us we believe we can do extraordinary things.

Our aim is to see people empowered and equipped to be His ambassadors in this world. We aim and envision a body of people filled with love, desirous of serving, overflowing with His Spirit, and moved with compassion to help others discover Jesus and His wonderful plan for their lives.
